April 9th through 11th, 3Play Media will be attending the Sloan Consortium’s Emerging Technologies for Online Learning International Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada. In its sixth year, this symposium is designed to introduce individuals to emerging technologies propelling the efficiency of online learning.

Sloan-C recognizes the ways in which technology aids and enhances the learning experience, yet these discoveries often move at a breakneck pace, meaning new opportunities can be overlooked. The goal of this conference is to familiarize attendees with innovative technology designed specifically to enrich distance learning and develop online teaching methods.

There are five tracks for this year’s conference: Learning Spaces and Communities, Open and Accessible Learning, Evidence-based Learning, Faculty and Student Development, and Innovative Media and Tools. After reviewing the numerous sessions and workshops for these interesting tracks, we have created a hit list concentrating on those we find to be most interesting, summarized below. We hope to see you there!
