FTP Instructions

This tutorial provides step by step instructions on how to transfer files to 3Play Media using a FTP client software. Note that although these instructions refer to the free ClassFTP software (Mac or PC), there are many other FTP applications with similar functionality.

1. Download and install the free ClassFTP software, which is available for Mac or PC.

2. Log into your 3Play Media account and navigate to Upload > FTP Upload Information. Locate your FTP Username and Password.

3. Run the ClassicFTP software and click the Quick Connect button.

4. Enter “ftp.3playmedia.com” in the FTP Server field. Enter your FTP username and password that you obtained in step 2.

5. If the connection is successful, you should see “Connected to Quick Connection (ftp.3playmedia.com)” in the bottom-right corner.

5. In the left pane, select the files that need to be transferred and click the right arrow button to initiate transfer.

6. Wait for the files to complete transferring.
