Video Tutorials | Clipmaker – How to Search Your Video Archives & Create Clips |

Each horizontal bar represents the timeline of a particular video, and the blue segments show the location of the occurrences within that timeline. Clicking on a blue segment reveals the section of transcript containing the search term. You can play the video from this section or add it as a clip to the working clip reel.
Sometimes the collection pane will have multiple pages of search results, which you can navigate through at the top. You can also go back to the complete list of files by clicking All Files. Another way to create clips is to use the interactive transcript. Load one of the video files by clicking the play button in the collection pane. You can then create clips simply by highlighting the text and pressing the scissors button.
If you go to the working clip reel, you can see all the clips that you’ve created. Note that you can combine clips from any source files that are in your collection. You can also create clips using the Auto Clipper tool. The Auto Clipper tool scans the files in your collection and automatically pulls out clips that contain a specific search term along with the surrounding context. In this example, when we search for the word insurance, Auto Clipper finds 20 clips containing that word and adds the first ten to the working clip reel. It also gives the option to add the remaining ten.
If we go back to the working clip reel, you can rename the clips or rearrange them. You can also save the clip reel, print it, or export it as a new video or audio file for use within other applications or for inclusion in reports.
