Well, it’s been a while since I last participated in the blogosphere. We’ve been deep in our caves cranking out new and exciting products, enriching API access, and brainstorming with our partners and customers to identify the “Next Big Thing”.

Today, we’re kicking off a running column called “The Feature Presentation”: a highlight reel of some of the latest additions to 3Play products and services.

Today, we’re going to focus on the MY FILES tab of the account system.

Advanced Search: All completed files can now be searched via file name, metadata attributes, and text content. Quickly find the 2 files among your archive of 600 that contain the term “video platform”.  Utilize this feature to make your 3Play account a searchable meta-repository for your media assets.

Chapter Headings: Add chapter / subject-matter heading to your transcripts in the MY FILES transcript window. These heading are time-synchronized to the file, so clicking them will seek the video to the appropriate point when using the P3 plugin.  For example, in the screenshot below, “Intro” is a heading to the introductory portion of the video.
