Integration with Tegrity Simplifies Lecture Capture Transcription Process
Updated: January 4, 2018
3Play Media makes closed captioning lecture capture videos in Tegrity easier than ever before with the new and improved round-trip Tegrity integration.
Tegrity is a lecture capture system that allows educators to record lessons and share them with students on demand via the web. Instructors can publish both audio and video for live lectures, pre-recorded lectures, PowerPoint presentations, and screen shares.
Tegrity is a popular solution for distance education classes, MOOCs, online courses, or supplements to in-person classes.
Many Tegrity users are subject to accessibility laws that require closed captions and transcripts for their multimedia content.
Transcribing and captioning lectures for multiple classes, or even multiple schools, can be daunting.
That’s why this integration feature is a huge time-saver.
About the Tegrity-3Play Media Captioning Integration
Customers of Tegrity and 3Play Media can activate a one-time link between their accounts so that data can be shared seamlessly.
Once the integration is set up, you can manage your captioning requests directly within Tegrity. Tegrity submits your media files to 3Play, and then pushes the closed captions onto your lecture videos as soon as they’re ready.
