Tell Your Story at the New England Walk4Hearing
Updated: January 4, 2018
Come and share your hearing loss story at the Hearing Loss Association of America’s New England Walk4Hearing!
3Play Media is hosting a fun project at the New England Walk4Hearing on October 30, 2016 to interview people about their experience of being deaf/hard of hearing and the ways that they achieve accessibility.
At the 3Play Media tent, staff will interview people for a storytelling project in the style of the popular Humans of New York series. Stories will focus on the members of the deaf and hard of hearing community and how they work for and achieve communication access.
The project’s working title is “Faces Behind the Screen.” The hope is that this project will help to put a name and a face to individual stories of deaf and hard of hearing people and close the gap between the legal need for accessible media and the reason why it’s important.
If you’re interested in being interviewed at the Walk4Hearing, sign up below and someone from 3Play Media will be in touch to schedule a time.
