3Play Media Among Best Places to Work
We’re not exactly counting, but it’s only the second week of the new year, and we’ve already won two awards. That’s right, Built In Boston put together a list of the 50 best small companies to work for in Boston. We’re proud to be second on that list! And the excitement doesn’t stop there. We’re number 14 on Built In’s list of 100 overall best places to work in Boston 2019. (Ok, I guess we are counting – but wouldn’t you?)
Who We Are and What We Do
Why We Are Awesome
We’re awesome for a number of reasons! The mission behind our product – to make video content accessible – is at the heart of everything we do as a company. The passion for creating a more accessible web makes the work exciting and gratifying and propels the team to constantly strive for more.
Working for a purpose
It’s important to us at 3Play to keep accessibility top of mind. Recently we got together one afternoon and spent our lunchtime doing hands-on activities to remind us why we do what we do. We tried on vision simulation goggles to learn more about various degrees of vision loss, learned some new words in American Sign Language, and shared stories of some of the incredible people we have interviewed through our Faces Behind the Screen storytelling project.
