3Play Media to Donate Over $6,000 to the American Society for Deaf Children
Last month, we announced that for Giving Tuesday we would “3Play It Forward” to the American Society for Deaf Children (ASDC).
3Play It Forward is an annual campaign at 3Play Media to give back to the communities we serve and to shine a spotlight on accessibility. Here’s how it works: on Giving Tuesday, for every file submitted for captioning or transcription in the 3Play Account System, 3Play Media will donate $1 to the ASDC – at no extra cost to our customers.
So why Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is known as the global day for charitable giving. It was clear to our team that Giving Tuesday is the perfect time to contribute to our community and pay-it-forward to a meaningful cause during the holiday season.
The American Society for Deaf Children believes that all children should have full and equal access to communication in all environments, including in schools, communities, and homes. The ASDC supports parents and families of deaf children by providing a wealth of information on the latest research, early language development programs, and events around the country for families with deaf children.
We are happy to announce that thanks to this campaign and an abundance of support from the 3Play Media team, our customers, and our followers, we’re donating over $6,000 to the American Society for Deaf Children!
At 3Play Media, we aim to make accessible video easy because we believe everyone has the right to effective communication, regardless of ability. We would like to extend our gratitude once again for all of the support we received for the 3Play It Forward.
