3Play Media to Donate Over $6,000 to Hearing Loss Assoc. of America
Updated: June 3, 2019
Just over a month ago, we announced that our “3Play It Forward” campaign would be taking place on November 27th, also known as Giving Tuesday. Today, we are thrilled to announce that, thanks to this campaign and an abundance of support from the 3Play Media team, our customers, and our followers, we’re donating over $6,000 to the Hearing Loss Association of America!
We started “3Play It Forward” to help benefit the communities we serve and to shine a spotlight on accessibility. Here’s how it worked: for every file submitted for captioning or transcription on November 27th, 3Play Media promised to donate $1 to the Hearing Loss Association of America.
Why November 27th? It was the clear decision to contribute to our own community and pay-it-forward to the HLAA on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, also known as Giving Tuesday, or the global day of giving.
At 3Play Media, we aim to make accessible video easy because we believe everyone has the right to effective communication, regardless of any disability. We chose the Hearing Loss Association of America because it represents and supports those with hearing loss. This organization helps people with hearing loss by providing them with the tools they need to strive and by opening the world of communication for them through information, education, support, and advocacy.
We would like to extend our gratitude once again for all of the support we received for the “3Play It Forward” campaign.
