Turnaround and Deadline Compliance
Our standard turnaround is 4 business days and we provide a range of expedited options, including a 2-hour turnaround service. Our platform is based on a patented process for the way content is assigned to our staff so that almost every deadline is met. Our deadline compliance is more than 98%, and we automatically discount overdue files to the achieved turnaround level.

3Play Media + YouTube Integration
3Play Media has a round trip integration with YouTube to simplify the workflow for closed captioning, subtitling, and transcription. A feed of your YouTube videos will display directly in your 3Play Media account, where you can select files for captioning. After your captions have been processed, they are automatically sent to your YouTube account and added to your videos. Learn more

3Play Media has a round trip integration with Panopto to simplify the workflow for closed captioning, subtitling, and transcription. You can submit videos for captioning directly from your Panopto account. After your captions have been processed, they are automatically sent to your Panopto account and added to your videos. Interactive Transcript
In addition to captions and transcripts, you have the option to add an interactive transcript, which lets users interact with your video in an entirely new way. Users can search the video and navigate by clicking on any word to jump to that exact point. It’s even possible to share sections of a video by simply highlighting the text. Learn more
Audio Description
3Play Media provides audio description services. Audio description narrates the relevant visual information in a video and is an accommodation for blind and low vision viewers. We use human describers and a synthesized speech output to provide a more cost-effective, flexible solution. Both standard and extended audio description are available. Learn more

Tiered Pricing
The tiered pricing below covers all of Boston College (BC). The starting price is $2.20 per minute. After the first $50,000 (aggregated across all BC campuses) has been processed in a one-year period, the price will automatically drop to $2.10 per minute going forward. The price will continue to drop with each subsequent tier down to $1.75 per minute after $300,000. The price will reset at the beginning of each year.

You can upload your videos along with their transcripts and we’ll synchronize the text with the media using automated speech technology. This will give you access to all of the products and services that come with our standard transcription and captioning service. This service is available in 15 languages.

Audio Description
Audio description is an accommodation for blind and low-vision viewers that narrates the critical visual information in a video to provide context, clarify speakers, and articulate visual elements. We offer standard and extended description. With the standard description service, descriptions fit into natural pauses in the video’s audio track. With our extended service, the descriptions are not constrained to the natural pauses of a video. The extended service inserts pauses in the video to make room for descriptions, as needed.
