Interactive Transcript
Makes your video searchable, SEO-friendly, accessible, and more engaging
Adding an interactive transcript to your website allows your users to interact with your video in an entirely new way. Users can search the video and navigate by clicking on any word to jump to that exact point. It’s also a great way to make your video accessible and broaden your audience reach with the use of translations. You’ll see a significant SEO benefit because search engines will be able to index all of the spoken content instead of just the video title and tags. Also, users will be able to share sections of a video by simply highlighting the text, driving even more traffic to your site.
Demo instructions
1. Click any word to play the video from that point
2. Try out the video search bar
3. Switch languages
4. To share a section of video, highlight some text and press the scissors button
5. Collapse/expand the transcript
Works with most video players
The interactive transcript works out of the box with many different video players, including Brightcove, Blip.tv, Flowplayer, JW Player, Kaltura, Limelight, Ooyala, Vimeo, Wistia, and YouTube.

Easy installation
An interactive transcript can be added to any website by inserting an embed code – it’s the same process as embedding a video player. You can get the embed code from your 3Play Media account after your files have been transcribed. The embed code is dynamically generated based on your video player, features enabled, size, and styling. The transcript data is normally hosted by 3Play Media, but it’s also possible to do a self-hosted installation.

Custom appearance
You can control the size, choose different skins, and turn features on and off. Further customization is possible through standard CSS styling.
Social video clipping
Social video clipping is an optional feature that lets users share a section of a video by highlighting the corresponding text in the interactive transcript. This allows users to point their followers to a specific scene, instead of just sharing a video page.
