Tips for Supporting Faculty with Disabilities

In the field of accessible and inclusive design in higher education, most research and reported practice focus on the experiences of and benefits for students with disabilities. This presentation will explore how campuses can recruit faculty members with diverse characteristics, including disabilities, and make their employment positions, resources, and activities more inclusive of people who have disabilities. Participants will learn about a framework for doing this and learn about tips for implementation.
