Finance Specialist (Admin)

3Play Media is looking for a full-time Finance Specialist. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine accounting and finance related tasks that are critical to the company’s success. This position requires high levels of accuracy and diligence and the ability to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers. The perfect candidate will be precise, self-motivated, organized, and excel at time management.
Role and Responsibilities
- Processes customer payments (checks and wires)
- Develops and owns the collections process
- Handles all custom customer invoicing
- Codes and tracks credit card transactions
- Manages customer emails to the finance email domain
- Develops and maintains a process for retaining purchase receipts
- Owns the 1099 reporting process
- Processes and tracks vendor invoices
- Assists in month end close processes, the financial statement audit, and the quarterly tax reporting
- Resolves customer invoicing and payment concerns as needed
- Processes employee expense reports and reimbursements
- Participates as needed in special projects for the Finance department
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior finance and/or accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and G-Suite (gmail, google docs, etc)
- Experience using Quickbooks
- Customer service and advanced problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability and willingness to work both independently and with the team
